This free online, pre-recorded course is designed to bridge the critical gap in dermatologic education, focusing on the nuanced identification of eczema on a variety of skin tones which are underrepresented due to lack of images of richly pigmented skin in medical textbooks and educational courses.

Why This Course Matters: Atopic eczema, or atopic dermatitis, is a prevalent skin condition that manifests differently across various skin tones. Unfortunately, the lack of comprehensive education and resources for recognizing unique differences has led to misdiagnoses, under-treatment and health disparities. This course aims to close these knowledge gaps to improve healthcare outcomes for all patients.
